They believe that freedom to work encourages greater self-motivation and perseverance, for the world’s poorest and socially excluded.
Carishea has their factory in Scotland, Greenock, Inverclyde. They offer rehabilitation services to prisoners, working with the Scottish Prison Service at Greenock prison, building a unique and creative employment programme. As well as this they guarantee that no plastics are used in their products and every container is fully recyclable. In addition, a minimum of 50% of all profits goes towards the Ghanaian community development projects for health and education. This is where their worker’s harvest begins the Carishea product cycle.
